Where the money comes from

LedgerPilot earns commissions on some of the links it publishes: you pay the same price, a share of the seller's margin comes to us, and which product we recommend is decided before any of that.

Our own products

We also publish paid guides of our own. They are sold under the name Fieldnote Guides and are always presented as what they are — something we made and are selling — never slipped into a list as if a third party had earned the spot.

Things that never happen here

No paid reviews, no sponsored rankings, no invented ratings or testimonials, and no pretending we have handled a product we have only researched. An unverifiable claim gets cut rather than hedged.

The part people assume wrongly

That every link is a paid one. Most of them pay nothing at all, and they are in the article because they were the right thing to point at — not because someone was running a programme.

How we choose what to cover

We start from what readers are actually trying to solve in AI-powered bookkeeping and accounting tools for freelancers and the self-employed, then work from published specifications, official documentation and publicly available user feedback. Commercial relationships are considered afterwards, never first.
