Everything published at ledgerpilot.net is published for information. We research AI-powered bookkeeping and accounting tools for freelancers and the self-employed and write up what we find; we are not licensed professionals, so none of it should be treated as professional advice.

What our claims rest on

Public sources only: vendor or manufacturer documentation, current pricing pages, and patterns across user feedback anyone can read. Desk research is never presented as hands-on testing, and a figure we cannot verify does not go on the page.

Paying for a guide

If you buy one of our digital guides, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read it and use it yourself. You may not resell it, republish it or redistribute it, in whole or in part.

Payment is taken by our payment processor for Fieldnote Guides, the name this site sells under. That is the name on your receipt. Your bank shows the charge as FIELDNOTE GUIDES, not as the name of this site. We never see or store your card details. Delivery is immediate and digital: the payment clears and the guide opens at a link of your own. On the rare occasion that fails, write to us and we put it right.

Our content

What we write and produce belongs to us. Quote a paragraph and link back and we are happy; lift an article whole and we are not.

Accuracy and change

Products, prices and availability change without notice. We correct what we find, but we cannot promise every page is current at the moment you read it.
