Refunds and Cancellations

Version 2026. Written before you pay, on purpose, so there is nothing to discover afterwards.

Everything is on the table first

We publish the full contents of each guide on its own page, and a sample you can read without paying, so that nothing about the purchase is a surprise. Knowing exactly what you are getting is the protection that actually helps.

Delivery is instant and complete: the payment clears, the whole document opens at your own link, and it stays there. For that reason sales are final once the guide has been delivered.

When something goes wrong

Two things are not refund requests. They are our mistakes, and we put them right without argument:

• your link never worked, and we could not fix it;
• the same order was charged twice.

Reply to your receipt — it comes from our payment processor under Fieldnote Guides and carries the order, so nobody has to prove anything. The contact page works too. Either way, come to us before your bank: we can settle it in days.
